Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible.

I am Brian.

It is always a joy to be here with you today.

It's an honor.

It's a privilege.

It's amazing that this even exists, that we come in and create this global campfire

and create this safe oasis for our spirits, for ourselves.

We can kind of come in out of the cold and all this stuff that we are dragging around this anxiety,

this baggage, this past, all this chains, all the stuff, all the obligations and responsibilities.

You just kind of set that pack down and come in out of the cold and into this safe place where

we're just here to hear the Bible

and wrestle with it, invite the spirit of truth to bring to us what we need today.

We can set that pack down of heaviness while we're in here.

Because it's going to be there. Like we can set that back down of heaviness while we're in here. Because it's going to be there.

Like we can leave our little time around the campfire and go pick it back up and carry it forward.

Or we might find ways to lighten the burden.

Like maybe some of that can be like, oh, maybe we get what we need in certain areas

because we've made a space and a time to just allow our spirit to grow.

So I'm glad that we can be here.
