| 0:42.0 | We are working through the life story of Abraham, the patriarch of the Hebrew people, a person who influences the rest of the Bible, and influences the world until today. |
| 0:59.0 | Let's dive in Genesis chapter 24 verse 52 through 26 verse 16. |
| 1:17.0 | When Abraham's servant heard what they said, he bowed down to the ground before the Lord, and the servant brought out gold and silver jewelry and articles of clothing and gave them to Rebecca. |
| 1:31.0 | He also gave costly gifts to her brother and to her mother. Then he and the man who were with him ate and drank and spent the night there. |
| 1:42.0 | When they got up the next morning, he said, send me on my way to my master. But her brother and her mother replied, let the young woman remain with us ten days or so. And you may go. |

| 3:01.0 | As he looked up, he saw camels approaching. Rebecca also looked up and saw Isaac. She got down from her camel and asked the servant, who is that man in the field coming to meet us? |
| 3:17.0 | He is my master, the servant answered. So she took her veil and covered herself. Then the servant told Isaac all he had done. |
| 3:29.0 | Isaac brought her into the tent of his mother Sarah and he married Rebecca. So she became his wife and he loved her. |
| 3:40.0 | Isaac was comforted after his mother's death. Abraham had taken another wife whose name was Katura. |
| 3:50.0 | She bore him Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak and Shuah. Jokshan was the father of Shiba and Ddan. The descendants of Ddan were the Asherites, the two Shites and the Liyumites. |
| 4:07.0 | The sons of Midian were Ifa, Efer, Hanok, Abida and Aldeha. All these were descendants of Katura. Abraham left everything he owned to Isaac. |
| 4:22.0 | But while he was still living he gave gifts to the sons of his concubines and sent them away from his son Isaac to the land of the East. |
