Welcome to the Global Campfire.

I am Brian.

It is wonderful to be here with you today.

As we do, what we do, gather,

show up for each other every day,

show up for ourselves every day.

And take the next step forward on this adventure that gives us so much to think about. This adventure through the Bible, it just touches everything.

And it's pretty comprehensive.

And so we've already been touched in a number of areas as we're just getting going.

It won't stop because it's transformational.

If we bring these things on board and allow them to seep through our minds and into our hearts.

How we do that day by day, step by step, showing up for each other, showing up for ourselves.

So I'm thrilled that we can be here today to take that next step forward.

Yesterday, we were learning about Abram, and we watched him enter into a covenant with God,

a covenant that came with a promise, that there would be a promised land, and that his family

would inhabit this land.

He just doesn't have any kids and he's old.

And so that's kind of a far-fetched promise.

But Abram believed God, trusted God,

and God counted him righteous
