Welcome to the Global Campfire.

It's great to be here with you as we greet a brand new, shiny, sparkly week,

reminding ourselves of the resets.

It's all out in front of us.

Let's choose wisdom.

We're constantly being encouraged that wisdom is like an irreplaceable part of life.

So let's embrace wisdom.

And one of the wise things that we do is show up for each other every day, show up for ourselves every day, come into this little oasis, this safe place together,

as we stay on the literally the same page as we're moving through the scriptures.

And we were at a beginning and an ending yesterday.

Not just the ending of a week, we ended the book of Exodus yesterday.

We also began the book of Mark yesterday.

Today, we're going to begin the next book in the Old Testament.

It is the book of Leviticus.

It is the third book of the Torah.

And it was written two and four the children of Israel.

So we find ourselves at this point in the middle of the wilderness and god is establishing a covenant

between himself and these people the children of israel who are becoming his people set apart

for a purpose to reveal him to the rest of the world. And it's been about a year now

since they've left slavery in Egypt and the law is being given, right? The terms of the society.
