Today is the seventh day of February. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. Welcome to the global

campfire. Welcome to another brand new day. Welcome to the next step forward. Welcome. Glad we can be

together so so happy that this place exists and every single day of this year is the 20th

because we're moving through our our 20th year together and so this is the 20th February 7th

and I am excited to read what we get to read for the 20th time.

Now, what we're reading right now is in the book of Exodus.

And God is beginning to lay out customs and rituals, rules and regulations, laws that govern people, right?

Like, all of our societies have laws to govern.

Like what a citizen, like how behaving in certain ways makes it possible for everybody to coexist and exist together without like degenerating into tribal warfare.

And it's not as if we don't still try in every conceivable way.

But God is laying out a pattern for a people that are chosen to be a nation of priests to reveal him

to the world. So we've gotten some of that, some of the different customs, some of the

different postures. We get to find out today is that God intends to be among this people.

But he intends to actually travel with them.

So there is a place that needs to be made.

It's going to be called the Tabernacle.

Today, Exodus chapters 26 and 27.

May 26 and 27. Make the tabernacle with 10 curtains of finely twisted linen and blue, purple, and scarlet yarn,

with cherubim woven into them by a skilled worker.

All the curtains are to be the same size,

28 cubits long and 4 cubits wide.

Join five of the curtains together and do the same with the other five.
