Today is the sixth day of December. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I am Brian. It is fantastic to be here with you today as we gather again around the global campfire. Take the next step forward. But even as we take the next step forward, we come into this kind of safe oasis

this cares of this life especially as things just speed up

this is like the press to the end of the year and the holidays and everything

this is a safe place here to just let it go for a minute

but the Bible speak to us in its own voice

in its own words

so I am glad to be here with you

as we approach the end of the year the Bible kind of speeds up too

not so much in its pace it's

just we experience a lot of the shorter uh the shorter material in the bible so we're kind of moving

through a lot of territory that we have to talk about as we navigate to the end of the year

today won't be any different we We began the book of Hosea and the minor prophets yesterday in the Old

Testament, but we concluded 1st John, which is a letter. And so when we get to the New

Testament, we've got 2nd John. And we'll talk about that

because we're going to read the whole thing. And this is what I mean about sort of moving a little

bit more rapidly. But we'll navigate. No problem. We always do. It'll be great.

There's so much in front of us.
