But we have a ways to go. Quite a ways to go. A lot to learn before we finish our

journey. Right now we are we are learning from the book of Job and entering into our own stories of suffering.

So basically the way Job goes is that we learn what happened to Job and what happened to Job is complicated, complex, traumatic, destructive, I mean he is absolutely destroyed as a person.

His friends come to him, they sit with him, they listen to him,

they begin to converse with him.

He's pretty adamant about his suffering and the injustice of it,

and his, like there's no reason for it.

His friends are... Like there's no reason for it.

His friends are circling around,

like there's a reason for everything, buddy.

And you are it?

And he's like, I am not, I appeal appeal to God but there is nowhere to find him and his

friends get mad and it gets existential about what God does and what God does not do and who he does it with and that

God will not answer Job because Job is claiming to be righteous when nobody is

righteous. There is something somewhere that he did that he deserves this judgment.
