It is, it's great to be here with you today as we round out another one of the 52 of these weeks that we get to spend together and we are kind of rounding out in the book of Nehemiah in the Old

Testament and what a journey that's been in terms of just watching perseverance in the rebuilding of the wall of Jerusalem

after Jerusalem's complete destruction will conclude the book of

Nehemiah today.

And so let's do that.

Nehemiah chapter 12 verse 27 through 13 verse 31.

At the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem.

They sought out the Levites from all the places they live to bring them to Jerusalem to celebrate

the dedication joyfully with songs of Thanksgiving, and songs accompanied by symbols, harps, and liars.

The singers were also assembled from the district around Jerusalem and from the settlements

of the Nantofatites and from Bet Gilgal and from the fields of

Giba and Asmaevith, for the singers had built settlements for themselves around Jerusalem.

When the priests and Levites had purified themselves, they purify the people, the gates, and the wall.

I brought the leaders of Judah up on top of the wall, and I appointed two large choirs to give thanks.

One was to proceed on the top of the wall southward toward the Dungate.

Going after them were O'Shia, half the leaders of Judah, Azariah, Ezra, Mashulam, Judah,

Benjamin, Shamaya, Jeremiah, some of the priests with trumpets,

Zechariah son of Jonathan,

the son of Shemaia, the son of Metanaia,

the son of Macaea, the son of Zaccor,

the son of Aesavaf and his colleagues
