It is fantastic to be here with you today,

another day in the deep summer of the sweltering rolling hills of Tennessee.

It is, it's awesome to be here with you.

Wherever you may be, whatever you may be doing, let it all go.

We're here in this place, the global campfire, this place that we make for each other every day,

to gather and take another step forward as we navigate through the entire Bible every year and so

we're in deep August so we're very very much well underway

we're in the book of Nehemiah right now. Today we'll read chapter 11 verse 1 through 12 verse 26. So the leaders of the people settled in Jerusalem, while the rest of the people settled in Jerusalem,

while the rest of the people cast lots to bring one out of every ten to settle in Jerusalem,

the holy city, while the other nine remained in other cities.

The people gave their blessing on all the men who have volunteered to settle in Jerusalem.

These are the provincial leaders who settled in Jerusalem,

while other Israelites, the priests, the Levites, the temple

attendance, and the sons of the servants of Solomon settled in the cities of Judah, each on his

own property in their cities.

Some of the descendants of Judah and some of the descendants of Benjamin settled in Jerusalem.

Of the descendants of Judah.

Atea, son of Yuziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shefataya, the son of Mahalalalalalal.

From the descendants of Perez and Meassia, son of Baruch, the son of Kohl Jose, the son of

Hazaya, the son of Adaya, the son of Joyarib, the son of Zakariah from the descendants of Sheila.
