Is coffee. I'm sorry is coffee in my hand how are you today I probably should have put my coffee down before I turned the microphone on. But here we are.

Together, I'm glad that we can be together. I'm glad that there's a place to be together and I'm glad that this is it.

So welcome to the global campfire today.

We obviously come here every day to take the next step forward in the scriptures.

So that's where we are. We're in the book of Nehemiah. In the

book of Nehemiah we've watched the wall be rebuilt around Jerusalem and we've

watched people come together and they are celebrating before the Lord and

learning of the law of Moses and repenting before God. So yesterday there was this prayer of confession that began,

and that's where we're picking up today in that prayer of confession.

Nehemiah, chapter 9, verse 22 through 10, verse 39.

You gave them kingdoms and peoples and you allocated them to every corner of the land.

They inherited the land of King Sion of Heshbon and the land of King Ag of Bishon.

You multiplied their descendants like the stars of the sky.

You brought them to the land you had told their ancestors to enter in order

to possess. Their descendants entered and possessed the land. You subdued before them the Canaanites who were the inhabitants of the land.

You delivered them into their hand, together with their kings and the peoples of the land to deal with as they pleased.

They captured fortified cities and fertile land.

They took possession of houses full of all sorts of good things.
