Today is the 15th day of August.

Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I'm Brian. It is a fantastic.

A privilege, an honor, a joy to cross through the center of the month with you.

As we continue at least here in the

rolling hills of Tennessee in the high deep summer the hot steamy summer I am grateful

not necessarily for that although I mean I'm I'm grateful for everything but grateful that it's like a perfect 70 degrees

here around the global campfire every day it's like whenever we come in here it's a safe place

we're in this together and we have an atmosphere where we can focus.

Let our guards down.

Release the cares and anxiety.

Release the depression.

Release all of it.

And give ourselves permission for a few minutes to be free of it as we let the scriptures speak to us and the scriptures often reframe a lot but if we want to pick up where we left off in the emotional turmoil, we can just

go right back to it, but we give ourselves opportunity here to be safe and to keep each other safe,

and to show up and know we're not alone. I know that everybody's struggling. And so when we're

listening to this, we're listening with other people who are struggling. If you're listening to me,

I'm struggling. We're all struggling. Like, we're all broken. But we are all moving forward.

And we're all in this together. I'm grateful to be here with you today

as we take the next step forward

and at this point

that is leading us through the book of Nehemiah

and today Nehemiah chapter 9, verse 22 through 10, verse 39.
