I am grateful today for you.

Grateful today for the scriptures.

Grateful today for today.

Grateful today that we can take another step forward.

And we are in some territory in the Old Testament that I love very much.

The book of Nehemiah is definitely a story that I just find intriguing.

And we've talked quite a bit about it yesterday as we got into it.

It is such important messages for those of us,

which is all of us,

who have dreams and hopes and are incorporating and asking God to lead and direct those things.

Nehemiah wants to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem.

This is kind of like after the exile.

He's been sent and given permission by the Persian king to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem.

But that doesn't mean that it's going to be easy because it's not.

And that doesn't mean that the people in the land are excited about the wall of Jerusalem being rebuilt because they're not.

And so let's continue the journey while looking at the opposition in our own lives and in our own stories.
