It's great to be here with you today.

As we come together again around the global campfire, take the next step forward together,

together in our spiritual path, as we allow the word of God to inform our choices and then just being together in

community as we move forward in life. It is a joy that we have a place like this.

So I'm glad that we can be here today.

We're in the Book of Nehemiah in the Old Testament right now.

A beautiful story of

of resilience and endurance and a resolute attitude to complete what was begun regardless of opposition. So let us continue.

Nehemiah chapter 3 verse 15 through 5 verse 13 today. Shalun, son of Kowze, had of the district of Mitzpah, worked on the fountain gate. He rebuilt it, put on its roof,

and positioned its doors, its bolts, and its bars. In addition, he rebuilt the wall of the pool of Salome by the Royal Garden as far as the steps

that go down from the city of David.

Nehemiah, son of Asbook, head of a half district of Betzur, worked after him as far as the

tombs of David and the artificial pool in the house of the warriors.

After him the Levites worked, Rayhomb son of Bonnie, and after him Heshabaya, head of half the

district of Kila for his district. After him their relatives worked.

Benui, son of Hidad, head of a half district of Kila, adjacent to him Ezer, son of Jishua, head of Mitzpah, worked on another section, opposite

the ascent to the armory at the buttress.

After him, Baruch, son of Zabai, worked on another section from the buttress to the door of the house of Eliasib, the high priest.

After him, Merrimote, son of Uriah, the son of Hekaws, worked on another section from the door of Elias's house to the end of it.
