It is wonderful to be here with you today

as we greet a brand new shiny sparkly week I'm actually I'm up

early today really really really really I couldn't sleep.

So I'm actually watching that happen.

I think maybe for the first time now, this is like almost all the way through 19 years.

I think this is the first time. It's a brand new shiny

sparkly week and I'm actually watching the daybreak and it feels brand new and

shiny and sparkly. I can see this line of dark clouds, a line and then

beyond that the orange of the coming day. I can see it coming. I can see the week coming. It's gonna be be okay, guys.

Let's do this right and finish this week better than we are right now,

because it's a choice.

Let's choose, and let's allow the scriptures to help us with that.

So we'll read from the New English translation this week.

We concluded the book of Ezra yesterday and so as we greet this shiny sparkly week

we greet a shiny sparkly new book that we will dive into this week the book of Nehemiah and this is obviously in the Bible

so it's a it's a writing in the Bible that's a part of a grouping of volumes of books known as the books of history of off. So he came out of Second Chronicles and picked up with Ezra, and Ezra picked up where Second

Chronicles left off. And now Nehemiah basically picks up where Ezra leaves off. In fact, the Christian tradition offers that Ezra is at least one of the

authors of this book because Ezra Nehemiah or at one time all contained in a single manuscript.

But anyway, Nehemiah was a Jewish exile who had been taken away
