Today is the 30th day of April. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I am Brian. It's great to be here with you today. Wow.

Last day, friends. last day of this month.

We have made it four months.

And I will transition into the fifth month of the year.

Tomorrow, but as we reach this final day of April,

we're going to begin some new territory.

When we get to the New Testaments, we will begin the Gospel of John.

We'll talk about that when we get there. But before we get there and we have the Old

Testament and we are working our way through the

Judges of Israel.

It's the Book of Judges.

It's the story of the

story of the leaders who led the children of Israel after Joshua

and up until Israel's first king,

his name will be King Saul.

And we haven't gotten to King Saul so we're working from

Joshua to Saul and that takes place in the book of judges and so today judges

chapters 11 and 12.

Now Jepthah, the Gadite, was a mighty warrior, but he was the son of a prostitute.

Gilead was the father of Jeptha, and Gilead's wife also bore him sons, and when his wife's sons

his wife's sons grew up they drove Jeptha out and said to him,
