Today is the 24th day of April.

Hi, welcome to the Daily Audio Bible.

I'm Brian, it's great to be here with you.

It's great to be together today.

Another day, another step forward.

As we journey together through life and do that together,

centered around one thing here in a community known as the Global Campfire.

A day forward in the scriptures leads us all the way through every bit of it in a year and we spend a year together

doing that all the highs and lows in the scriptures all the highs and lows of life and man

God in the middle of all of it reaching reaching, reaching, reaching into our hearts to wake us up

to see the ways that we are navigating and where those paths lead us.

So again, grateful, grateful, grateful to be together today and move forward together another step.

And that leads us into this new territory that we've gotten into just yesterday.

The book of judges.

So we were under Moses' leadership, and then we were under Joshua's leadership,

and then we finally got to the Promised Land, and the children of Israel finally divided it up and

settled into it. The book of judges is what happened next. And that's where we are.

Today, Judges 2, verse 10 through 3, verse 31.

After that generation died, another generation grew up who did not acknowledge the Lord or remember the mighty things he had done for Israel.

The Israelites did evil in the Lord's sight and served the images of Bail.

They abandoned the Lord, the God of their ancestors who had brought them out of Egypt.

They went after other gods, worshipping the gods of the people around them, and they angered the Lord.
