Today is the 23rd day of April.

Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I'm Brian.

Great to be here with you from the rolling hills of Tennessee that are greening up.

Looking beautiful.

Ah man, glad that we can be together no matter where you are and no matter what's going on,

glad we can step into this safe oasis that gets created every day that we call the global

campfire.

We come together and take another step forward on a grand adventure and voyage through

the Bible and really into the center of our souls, where we allow the scriptures to speak

to our hearts

and challenge us, transforming us, if we will listen,

if we will have ears to hear.

So I'm glad.

I'm grateful that we can be together.

And every one of these days is the 20th,

as we go through the 20th year together.

And so we've come to the threshold of a brand new book for the 20th time.

We concluded the book of Joshua yesterday.

And that leads us into a book called Judges.

And I guess throughout my childhood, not really reading the Bible, just kind of being around

it a lot.

I thought Judges was like one of those Old Testament books.
