It is an honor and a privilege to be here together with you today.

How you doing?

Wow, it's vastly approaching the middle of another month.

Can it slow down or should it speed up?

Or like, what is going on here? That seems to be, like it was just New Year's, it seems like but i have seen this the changing of the seasons

and i am so grateful to be in this season now or in now of new life kind of all around and um

uh enjoying it and trying to drink it in and just let the fresh air into my lungs and the new life

into my body I hope you're doing the same I realize we're all over the world so the season that

it is here is not the season that it is everywhere, but I am grateful

for where we are and that we have this place around a global campfire together to take

another step forward each and every day as we journey through the scriptures together and

let them transform us by just telling us the truth and inviting us to look at ourselves.

As we look at so many other stories, we began the book of Joshua yesterday.

And we have finally this place where we are going to cross into the promised land, this mythic land that we've been journeying toward through so much wilderness and through so much ups and downs and backs and forths.

Kind of like the wilderness journey of our own lives.

Finally, today, we get to cross over.

Joshua, chapters three, and four.

The next morning, Joshua and all the people of Israel got up early, left the camp at Acacia and went to the Jordan where they camped while waiting to cross it.
