Today is the seventh day of April.

Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible.

Welcome back to the global campfire.

It is so good to see you.

So good that we can be in this safe place

that we get to create for each other every day as we take this voyage

through the scriptures and allow them to do their work within us.

And if we have eyes to see and ears to hear, there's no way that that doesn't happen.

It's a powerful, powerful thing to be confronted with the truth.

And then we sit at a crossroads and decide what we're going to do with it.

And ignoring it, well, my goodness, I mean, you know, we get to see where that path goes in the scriptures.

Embracing it is a narrow path and a difficult one.

We also get to see where that road goes.

So I'm grateful that we can be here together and take this next step forward together.

We are navigating the Book of Deuteronomy.

Kind of reaching the end of it.

We're not there yet.

We will be in the next days.

This is Moses' final counsel,

his pleading with the children of Israel about their future

because he's not going to be there to lead them.
