Today is the sixth day of April.

Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible.

Welcome back to the global campfire.

It is an honor to be here today as we greet another shiny, sparkly, brand new week.

Out in front of us for us to write the story of our lives upon.

It's all out there in front of us.

And the tools that we will use to write that story are our thoughts, our words, and our deeds. And we will do it. We have no choice.

We will write the story of this week. It's ours to write using those tools. So let's just stand here together and look out over the vista. It has not happened yet.

Sure, lots of things are being drug into it.

That are holdovers from last week, last month, last year, or just things we've been carrying our whole lives.

How we handle it's up to us.

That is a lot of creative power, is it not?

That we get to do that because we're made in the image of God who is a creator.

And so may we collaborate with the Most High with the great creator in creating the story of this week.

I'm glad that we can be here.

Our next step forward leads us back into the book of Deuteronomy.

The book of Deuteronomy are three major discourses from Moses,

who we've been traveling with for a very long time now.

And Moses, well, these are his last things.

He's not going to be crossing into the promised land with the children of Israel.

He's going to become a part of their history.

And so these are the things that he has to say.
