Today is the second day of April. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible.

I am Brian, it is wonderful to be here with you today as we get ourselves moved into this brand new month.

And excited to see the seasons continue to change.

I love it when the trees bud and it's time for the leaves to come back and

start showing its face in this month here in the south and the rolling hills of Tennessee.

So it is wonderful to be here with you at this point in time.

And it is wonderful to be here around the global campfire with you today.

And today is known as Palm Sunday.

So we are approaching the end of the Lenton season.

One week from today is Easter Sunday.

And so this week that we are moving into now is known as Holy Week.

And there are many traditions throughout the earth, throughout the different Christian traditions

and different ways of observing Holy Week.

We're probably most familiar with Good Friday, which will be this Friday.

And there are often observations of Good Friday.

But each of these days means something and they lead us forward toward next one week from today.

Easter Sunday, the great rejoicing, the great observation of the resurrection of Jesus and our hope for salvation.

And so may we may we drink deeply as we navigate through this week.

Well for now, let's take the next step forward.

We will read from the God's Word translation this week.

And moving back out into the book of Deuteronomy, we will pick up where we left off yesterday.

And we'll read Deuteronomy chapters 21 and 22 today.
