Inside the body of the Colossus, the air is warm and wet. You travel for what feels like hours

through ropey intestines until finally you see light up ahead. As you make your way to the end

of the tunnel, there is a steep drop and in front of you is a sizable lake, not of water,

but of acid. In the acid chunks of earth form small islands and corpses of large animals float

by slowly dissolving. On the far side of the lake of acid, you spy two large tubes of glass

with liquid roaring up and down between them and a small platform in front of them.

Why don't I just do a general perception check? Can I do that?
