Hello, my friends, and welcome back to Unshaken. I'm Jared Halverson. And no need to adjust the color controls of your monitor right now.

My face really is this red. I had an interesting sunburn experience over the last weekend. It was Women's Conference at BYU, which was absolutely wonderful.

I got to meet a ton of you and such an honor for me to be able to spend some time with each of you.

But I had one sister that wanted to talk.

We were outside of the building and what I thought was going to be a 15-20-minute talk led to be about a two-hour conversation.

And it wasn't hot enough to alert me that I was getting fried.

And my Danish ancestry have ganged up on me and decided that

genetically, Halversons are going to be white, red, or shades of pink in between,

but nothing else, never a tan.

So hopefully by the next time we film, I will have faded back to my normal pasty white and we'll be able to move forward.

But it really was a thrill to be able to speak to so many and to meet so many.

Honestly, any chance to rub shoulders with the Saints of Zion is a thrill for me.

Speaking of listening, that's what we'll be doing

today for the next little while. We've got some amazing chapters to study, but amazing in the fact

that they don't seem amazing to many people. This week we are studying as Doctor in Covenants 51 through

57, and I'd be hard pressed to find anybody that knew off the top of their head what any of those revelations were about.

Maybe 57, since that's the first time that we actually have a pin in the map

and say that Jackson, Independence, Jackson County, Missouri is going to be Zion.

So that's pretty amazing. That's noteworthy.

But these revelations are not the earth-shattering

doctrinal type. And in some ways, I'm so grateful that we have these kinds of revelations

...
