Summary

Cyntoia Brown is the subject of a powerful new Netflix doc Murder To Mercy: The Cyntoia Brown Story. She was a teenage prostitute who was convicted of murder when she was 15 but years later it became clear that she wasn’t a predator, she was a victim. She did 15 years of a life sentence for murder before her sentence was commuted. Back in October of 2019, a few months after she got out of prison, we spoke about her heartbreaking story, how she ended up in prison, and how she managed her time, and how she got out. It’s an incredibly powerful story. Instagram @toureshow. Twitter: @toure Patreon: See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information. Learn more about your ad choices.
