An entitled customer at Walmart demands that he fight my manager in the parking lot, all because

we wouldn't price match an obvious scam that he saw on Facebook.

And I'm honestly still shocked by the way this guy acted.

Here's what happened.

So this situation literally came out of left field for me.

I work at Walmart in the lawn and garden section, and yesterday an older gentleman came in

from the main store,

glared at a display of hyper-tuff lawnmowers for $247, and yelled at me from across the department.

He said to me,

Your price is wrong. These are $9.95.

I trotted over, and I said, I'm sorry, what do you mean?

He said to me, it's on Facebook.

Walmart sells these things for

$9.95. And I came here to get one. I expect to get that price. I looked at him and I said,

I have not heard of this at all. What exactly are you talking about? Well, it seems like there's a

scam post going around on Facebook, showing a hyper-tuff lawnmower with a Walmart sign at $9.95.

And he even shows me this ad by holding up his phone triumphantly.

Now, I pulled out my phone to check this, and meanwhile, this old dude is muttering that I'm

obviously wrong, and that he would expect a corporation like Walmart to keep up on these

prices. I finally found the post and I showed him and I said to him,

yeah, this is incorrect, sir. It's a scam and these are quite common on Facebook. But this old

entitled jerk just would not get it. He said to me, oh, that is such garbage. This is real. It's

...
