Something that's been annoying me, but it's the last week or so.

I don't know when this trend began.

I've been seeing a lot of advertisements for, oh, get your Black Friday deal starting now.

And, first, Black Friday is not really a thing in Canada, we don't have Thanksgiving this time of your boxing days or big time of sales.

But let's postpone that.

Black Friday is on Friday. There's no reason for you to be getting these deals early than Black Friday.

You want a deal, you want a great deal on Black Friday, then you have to on Thanksgiving night go outside and sit in that lineup and wait with everybody else to get that TV for $45.

I'm sorry, there needs to be a sacrifice here.

The whole purpose of Black Friday is that it's on this day that you get incredible deals.

I know people have become coddled and feel like they need to have Black Friday deals and everything for three weeks in advance.

And it's the same the students here who start their boxing days, sales four days before Christmas.

It's like it's so foolish. Black Friday is on Black Friday the day after Thanksgiving.

That's when the deals are supposed to be.

I have absolutely no time for this idea that you should be able to cash in on this deal six days or you know, be a grown up.

Get yourself ready, go early, get ready to get in there when they open that door when those sales are on.

And then you've earned your extra big sale. Don't you tell me that you get to have Black Friday sales, you know, from the comfort of your couch on the Tuesday afternoon.

That's not Black Friday and that's not the way these sales work.
