Kurt is a environmental historian conservationist and a writer,

the author of a biography the Aldo Leopold

and Kurt is currently serving as the senior fellow at the Aldo Leopold Foundation

in Baraboo, Wisconsin.

He's got a tremendous resume here,

Alto Leopold, a Sound County Almanac and other writings on ecology and conservation.

He edited this special collection for the Library of America, and then his biography was published in 1988 first

and then edited and reissued in 2010.

That is Aldo Leopold, his life and work.
