And the first story we're starting with tonight is one we've been covering here.

And a big fact in this case is that the homeowner shot through a door.

He shot through a door and took the life of a woman named Maria she was a house cleaner her and her husband had a great business and their job was to show up

early in the morning they had the keys unlock the door going and clean these

houses they went to the wrong house and when they went to the wrong house.

And when they went to the wrong house, Maria Perez de Velazquez got shot in the head by

the homeowner.

Now this homeowner, you look at these facts here, this is what my friends in the criminal

defense bar would refer to as a bad fact, right?

Your client is on one side of a locked door, the victim's on the other side of a locked door,

and your client fires a gun through the locked door and kills someone.

Now, part of the case is he did call 911 to report an attempted home invasion.

So that's an important fact in this case.

He's saying, okay, what's going on in his mind?
