Today, we're going to talk about how to cure the silent killer hepatitis for only a thousand

0:06.3

dollars per pill. Now, the catches you have to take this for roughly about three months.

0:11.6

And roughly, there's a little more than 90 days in three months. So that comes out to

0:16.1

90,000 dollars. Now, before I get into the cure, let's talk about what hepatitis is. It's

0:20.9

inflammation of the liver. We're primarily going to be discussing viral hepatitis, okay? But there's

0:27.2

also other causes of hepatitis, like an autoimmune, which could be triggered by various things.

0:32.3

It could be triggered by a virus, vaccine, some drug, or other things. But there's a lot of people

0:38.0

who have hepatitis. It's like 325 million people worldwide have hepatitis. And the problem is,

0:45.7

there's not a lot of clues or symptoms to give it away. That's why they call a silent killer,

0:51.6

because you don't know what's going on. So what's happening is the virus ghost your immune system,

0:58.6

which means it hides within our immune system below the radar so it can't be detected. And at the

1:05.4

same time, it hijacks our own immune system. So our immune system's antiviral weaponry cannot

1:12.9

be activated. So it paralyzes our immune system so we can't bite back while it creates a lot of

1:18.7

destruction. And over time, that viral destruction then turns into inflammation and possibly into

1:25.6

fibrosis. So the cure. It's a drug called solvalde. Now they do use other medications with this

1:33.9

medication. But solvalde has a pretty high success rate for hepatitis type C. And the definition

1:41.2

for successfully treated apparently means curing. And so the curate or successful treatment

1:47.9

is roughly between 80 to 86%. Now the problem with this drug, number one, is the cost. It's a

1:54.2

thousand dollars per pill. And a person could spend anywhere between 80,000 to 160,000 dollars

2:03.6

for a round of treatment. Now the question I have is why is it so darn expensive? Well,

2:10.0

there applies the R&D. It takes a lot of money to develop this drug. But there's a very interesting

2:16.4

paper I'm going to put in the description that talks about the funding that they get in their R&D.
