0:07.6	And some of the reasons I think network marketing gets a bad rap and may be deservedly so,
0:12.3	but I also think in many cases, undeservedly so.

0:18.1	Okay, first, a full disclosure and actually just some transparency.
0:24.9	Because I'm often asked by people, so are you a coach with beach body?
0:28.6	Beach body is a network marketing organization.
0:32.3	So to give you full context of this, it wasn't a network marketing organization when I originally
0:39.7	partnered with Beach body.
0:42.2	So this is, gosh, 2004.
0:45.0	So long ago now, it's so crazy that I got my first infomercial deal and that was with
0:51.3	a company at the time known as Beach Body.
0:54.4	Beach Body at that time was doing direct to consumer marketing on TV.
0:59.7	Infomercials pretty much only.
1:02.2	And many years into the development of their company, they realized a lot of customers
1:06.9	were becoming the spokespeople, if you will, for their products.
1:11.5	Someone loses weight.
1:13.0	People habitually will ask, how did you do it?
1:16.4	And they would say, I did it with this program or I did it drinking these shakes or I did
1:19.9	it in combination with fitness and nutrition through this company.
1:23.9	They realized that direct marketing on television was getting more and more expensive.
