We often think obedience is successful when we see the outcome. But it’s really successful when we give it. It’s not about us receiving. It’s about doing what God has told us to do, when He told us to do it. Today, Pastor Mike shows us that we are not controlling the clock. 0:30.0	It's a series that if you need to be delivered for something, you can't be delivered if you don't know you've chained up.
0:38.0	So the truth of the matter is most people think their chains are jewelry.
0:44.0	You think it's fashionable to be addicted to certain things.
0:50.0	Because culture says it's okay. We think Christ is applauding our chains. But being a control freak, being a boss, God never applauds bosses.
1:02.0	Uh-oh.
1:04.0	We didn't start it this early.
1:07.0	God is not looking at you being like, yeah, you owe your grind. That's what I'm talking about.
1:11.0	There go my ch-he's not clapping for the same thing culture is clapping for.
1:18.0	The number of zeros in the bank does not make you worth or worthy.
1:24.0	It many times takes us away from worship.
1:29.0	And I just wanted everybody at the end of this year to know that God wants you free.
1:36.0	He wants you free from the things that you feel like you always have to be chained to.
1:41.0	You don't always have to be dealing with those same things, but that means you have to identify what you are cuffed to.
1:49.0	And then you have to allow God to free you from that.
1:52.0	And so in this entire series, it's been 17 weeks.
