But kingdom culture teaches the opposite. In part 16 of Cuffing Season, Pastor Charles teaches us how we can recognize climbing in our lives. 0:22.0	Week 16 of a series called Cuffing Season, the things you love that don't love you back.
0:30.0	And I'm going to read a portion of the Bible here, Luke 19, is what we're going to read.
0:35.0	If you got your Bibles in the room, congratulations. You are a special Christian because you have a Bible that you don't need to charge.
0:42.0	And if your Bible needs a charge, I hope it don't die on you and your darkest moment. Anyways.
0:48.0	That happened to me one time. I was literally doing a wedding and the iPad died in the middle of the wedding.
0:55.0	And I was like, so we gathered here today in the sight of God. Anyways, I made it all up.
1:03.0	Luke 19, they're still married today. Great wedding. God's blessing was on the marriage.
1:07.0	So Luke 19, starting in verse 1, Jesus entered Jericho and made his way through the town.
1:17.0	There was a man there named Zacchaeus. He was a chief tax collector in the region and he had become very rich.
1:26.0	He tried to get a look at Jesus, but he was too short to see over the crowd.
1:31.0	So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore fig tree beside the road. For Jesus was going to pass that way.
1:40.0	When Jesus came by, he looked up at Zacchaeus and called him by name, Zacchaeus, quick, come down.
1:48.0	I must be a guest in your home today. Zacchaeus with his short self quickly calmed down.
1:55.0	Took Jesus to his house with great excitement and joy. But the people were displeased.
2:02.0	He's gone to be a guest of a notorious sinner. The people grumbled.
2:08.0	Meanwhile, Zacchaeus stood before the Lord and said, I'll give half my wealth to the poor.
2:13.0	Lord, and if I have cheated, people in their taxes. I'll give them back four times as much.
2:20.0	Jesus responded. Salvation has come to this home today. For this man, himself,
