out our experiences with skincare and makeup.

Which are pretty drastically different because Jody has never been a big makeup gal, and I have always worn makeup.

But we thought it would be fun to do this podcast right now because next month in the Patreon group, our self-care focus is all about skin care and makeup. So we thought it'd be kind of fun to have two kind of opposite

ends of the spectrum in the makeup world and how we've both changed our skin care and makeup

routines over the years. And yeah, we just thought it would be fun. So Jody, what is your

makeup and face care routine story? It's really funny because this is actually my very first year.

I am a baby in the makeup world.

So I like to say for 40 years, I never wore makeup.

But then I realized when I did say that, that's like saying I would ever make up as a baby.

But it sounds, the story.

That or you're just really old. Right. The story sounds better if I say I haven't worn makeup for 40 years.

But that all changed this past summer. But I, I grew up really as a tomboy. And so I think that's why my

husband, you know, really liked me when we were

dating back in high school because I could talk cars. I could talk sports. Like I would be out

there running and playing and things like that. And so like that was good. Life was good. And

I just never got into the makeup world.

And I think part of it was I did not like walking through the department store because it just smelled really like it was really strong smells for me.
