Hello, and welcome to Cinema Story Origins, Episode 19C, The Prince of Egypt, part three. The The When we left off, Moses had just received his calling from God.

In the movie, he stumbles upon the burning bush, hears the voice of the Almighty, and after some hesitation, accepts his mission. He runs home, tells his wife Zipora everything,

and she tells him that she's coming with. It's this big emotional moment, epic music swells,

they hop on a camel and they're off to Egypt. But in the

scriptures there's more to it. You know what that's all about. Right after that, Moses reunites with

his brother Aaron and brings him up to speed on everything. Then they go to the elders of the

children of Israel, and Aaron is the one who does the talking.

Moses shows the signs, and long story short, they're convinced.

So before Moses even steps foot in Pharaoh's palace and the scriptures,

he's already got his brother by his side, he's already performed miracles,

and the elders of Israel were already on board. In the movie,

none of that happens. In the movie, Aaron hasn't really shown up yet, and he's a different character

anyway. Right now in the movie, Moses and Zippora have arrived in Egypt, and rather than go convince
