Hey, Sprouts, welcome back to the Catholic Spouts podcast.

This year, we are starting something a little new.

All year we will be journeying through the Gospels. Now this officially kicks off next week when we dive into week one, day one of this experience. So we're sort of in

week zero right now, but I wanted to spend some time talking about the gospel in general,

helping you understand

what the gospels in a year on the Catholic Spraud's podcast will sound like, what you are invited

to do, and what you can expect. So all year, we're going to be saying the same prayer before

we dive into the content. It is an ancient prayer that calls down

the power of the Holy Spirit. Perhaps you know it, perhaps you don't, but I hope you know it well

by the end of the year. So join in if you are able. In the name of the Father and of the Son

and of the Holy Spirit, amen. Come, Holy Spirit,

fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your

spirit and they shall be created and you will renew the face of the earth amen in the name of the father and of the

son and of the holy spirit amen so like i said it's going to be a terrific year we are going to read through

all four gospels right here on the Catholic Sprouts podcast.

I will be reading the scripture, a bit of it, perhaps a chapter, chapter, and a half each day.
