I'm reading from the New American Translation of the Bible, and remember my friends that although you are probably familiar with this story, God's Holy Word is alive and active, so let's pray

that our hearts can be open to receiving his message. In the name of the Father and of the Son,

and of the Holy Spirit, amen.

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love.
