0:42.0	We are in the Gospel of Matthew, reading chapter 24 verses 1 through 32.
0:49.1	Now, in this passage, you will hear Jesus say a lot of things, including explaining the coming of the son of man. Today, I'm reading from the new American translation of the Bible. I encourage you to take notes and to follow along.
0:58.1	Remember also that God's Holy Word is alive and active. So let's pray that our hearts can be open to receive what he wants to share with us today.
1:08.7	In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
1:12.8	amen. Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your
1:20.8	love. Send forth your spirit and they shall be created and you will renew the face of the earth. Amen.
1:30.3	In the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, amen.
1:35.9	A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew, chapter 24, verses 1 through 31.
1:43.8	Jesus left the temple area and was going away when his disciples approached him to point out the temple buildings.
1:52.3	He said to them in reply, You see all these things, do you not?
1:57.8	Amen, I say to you, there will not be left here a stone upon another that will not be
2:05.9	thrown down. As he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, his disciples approached him privately and said,
2:13.8	Tell us, when will this happen? And what sign were there they'll be of your coming and of the end of the age?
2:22.6	Jesus said to them in reply, see that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, saying,
2:30.7	I am the Messiah, and they will deceive many. You will hear of wars and reports of wars.
2:38.8	See that you are not alarmed, for these things must happen, but it will not yet be the end.
2:45.6	Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes from place to place.
