Today is day 150, and today is our very last day in the gospel of Luke. Today we are reading the last section chapter 24 verses 36 through 51 where we will hear the account of Jesus's ascension into heaven.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, amen.

Thus it is written that the Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and that repentance for the forgiveness of sins would be preached in his name to all the nations beginning from Jerusalem.
