| 0:00.0 | You're listening to Catholic Sprouts, the daily podcast for Catholic kids that strives to plant seeds of faith. |
| 0:28.7 | What's up, sproutsouts? Today is May 6th and the feast day of St. Dominic Savio. |
| 0:36.4 | I am Luke Kellwig, back with you for one more day to wrap up our discussion about being called to be a missionary. |
| 0:40.2 | And our saint today is a great example of how we're never too young to be a missionary and to make a difference in the lives of others. St. Dominic Savio was a young |
| 0:47.7 | boy. And from early in his youth, he just had a great devotion to prayer and a desire to be a saint. He actually, |
| 0:56.2 | at the age of seven, requested to be able to receive his first Holy Communion, which at the time, |
| 1:01.2 | he had to wait until you were 12. And the priests and the bishops were so impressed by his knowledge |

| 1:26.2 | normal boy while still having this |
| 1:29.2 | desire to be close to Jesus. So that's just a great reminder that all of this, you know, as a missionary, |
| 1:36.0 | we're not, when I'm not asking you to do is go to school tomorrow and stand on up on your chair and |
| 1:41.3 | say, I believe in Jesus and everybody should too. Please don't do that. |
| 1:45.0 | That probably won't work. |
| 1:46.8 | But can you each and every day grow closer to Christ? |
| 1:50.4 | Can you desire to be a saint? |
| 1:52.7 | And while doing that, keep your eye out for other people that God might be calling you |
| 1:57.6 | to share that desire to be a saint with. |
| 2:03.0 | So today's episode, what we're going to do is I'm just going to walk through five final tips with a few stories sprinkled in to just help us |
| 2:09.2 | kind of wrap up this desire to be a missionary. So the first tip is eternity is worth the awkwardness. And what does that mean? What I mean is that sometimes |
| 2:20.9 | we have to be willing to be silly or to make a fool of ourselves or to go talk to someone that we |
