Hey there, Sprouts. Today is Friday, April 22nd, 2022. We are also in the octave of Easter.

And we are just days away from the Great Divine Mercy Sunday. All week we have been talking about how Easter and Divine Mercy are so incredibly linked, and we've been going through all of the incredible

miracles, or just a couple of the miracles linked to the Divine Mercy. There are so many more,

and there are many that are just private that are never shared.

Jesus is so eager to pour out his love and mercy on us if we just trust.

Now, today's miracle is a very important one.

Once again, this happened just a number of years ago, but it is a miracle that was

officially investigated and used for the beatification of St. Faustina.

Remember, St. Faustina was a Polish nun whom Jesus appeared to and gave the message and the

image and the chaplet of the divine mercy. So this is a miracle that made her a saint. Before we get into it, I just want to

remind you that in order to become a saint in the Catholic Church, you have to have a couple of

miracles that occur after you die. You are only canonized a saint if these are investigated and

verified to be truly miraculous, and if they occur

after death. We know that this confirms someone is indeed a saint in heaven because the miracle

happens, not because they're in heaven and they're so powerful, but because it confirms that

they are in heaven at the altar of

God and that they can intercede for us in miraculous ways. So this is a story of Maureen. Now,

Maureen, when she was 15 years old, she was diagnosed with a disease that affected her legs.

They became bloated and puffy and she couldn't use them. And at one point,

it got so bad that one of her legs had to be amputated. Now, through this all, people in her life

were encouraging her to turn to God and to trust him, but she refused to do this. She became
