Hey there, Sprouts. Today is Wednesday, March 30th, 2020. Today is also the feast day of a religious sister from Austria who was a hero of the Second World War. Her name was Blessed Mary Resituta. Now, Blessed Mary was a religious,

but she was also a surgical nurse. When World War II broke out, of course, Austria was right in the middle of everything, and she was a vocal opponent of the Nazis. However, she continued to work. She managed a whole

surgical floor, and she hung crucifixes in her hospital in every single room. As the Nazis took

greater and greater power in Austria, they ordered her to remove those crucifixes from the rooms

of her hospital, but she from the rooms of her hospital.

But she refused.

They threatened her once again that if she did not take them down, she would be beheaded.

Once again, she refused.

And Blessed Mary lost her life because she refused to remove Christ from the hospital that she ran. Blessed Mary of Austria,

pray for us. Now this week on the Catholic Sprout's podcast, we are talking about the sin of sloth,

which is a laziness, both physical and spiritual. It is in action. It's things that we don't do

that we know we should do.

Yesterday we looked at how Jesus came to earth and he worked and the words that he said

just before he died on the cross, it is finished. Speak about the work that he did while he

was here, the work to save our souls to pay the price

for our sins. Now as Christ said on the cross, when he gave his life, he completed this job

that God had given him. He completed it perfectly. And although his job is done,

ours is not.

Jesus is very good.

He asks us to participate in his saving action of the world.

Now we do this.
