0:41.0	Hey there, Sprouts. Today is Friday, February 11th, 2020. Today is also the feast day of our lady of lords. Today we celebrate when Mary appeared to St. Bernadette Subaru in Lords's France, where a miraculous spring is still present today and thousands upon thousands of people travel to bathe in the miraculous springs,
0:46.9	and miracles are still happening today. Now, all week on this podcast, we have been talking about
0:52.4	putting on the whole armor of God.
0:55.0	We have put on the belt of truth, which is Jesus Christ, the way the truth and the life,
1:01.1	who holds all of this together. We have put on the breastplate of righteousness,
1:07.0	acknowledging that following God's law is the only way to protect our hearts from the attack of Satan.
1:14.0	We have put on shoes that will enable us to proclaim the gospel of peace,
1:18.4	knowing that often we will need to speak Jesus' name in places that are uncomfortable, but we can do it.
1:26.5	We've picked up the shield of faith, which is trust in Jesus.
1:31.7	Satan coweres before trust in Jesus. We put on the helmet of salvation, knowing that no matter
1:38.2	what happens to our bodies in this life, we are saved. And finally, we have picked up the sword of truth, the word of God,
1:46.2	knowing that scripture is powerful and God continues to speak to us today. And so, what does
1:53.7	all of this have to do with Mary? We're celebrating Mary today. Well, I'm going to tell you a story. When Mary appeared to St.
2:05.5	Bernadette, the first couple times she appeared, she didn't even tell Bernadette who she was.
2:10.9	In fact, all that they did is they prayed the rosary together. So years and years later, this happened in 2014, so not even that long ago,
2:22.5	in Africa, in the country of Nigeria, there were horrible things happening in Nigeria. There was a
2:29.1	terrorist group called Boko Haram, who were, they were a radical Muslim group and they were kidnapping Christians.
2:36.4	They were torturing them.
2:37.6	They were doing all sorts of horrible things in an effort to eliminate Christians in Nigeria.
2:43.9	It was just terrible.
2:45.7	So the bishop in this area of Nigeria, he prayed.
