Anthony D. Ambrosio is back once again to talk to you about true treasure, about the kingdom of heaven, and all that we are asked to do to obtain that true treasure. Hey friends, I'm back. It's Anthony Dambrosio here and we are talking about the kingdom of heaven.

Yesterday we talked about how the kingdom of heaven is like a secret buried treasure that we

get to have and bring with us throughout our day, but there's a catch. To get the treasure that

Jesus promises us, we have to make room in our lives for it. I want to talk more about that

today. So let's remember what Jesus said in the parable.

The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure buried in a field, which a person finds and hides again,

and out of joy goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. I think Jesus is talking

about the difference between fake and true treasure when he talks about

the person who finds the treasure and then goes and sells all that he has to get it.

When I was a kid, I treasured old, old coins.

Have you ever seen a two-cent piece? Everybody has seen like a one-cent

piece, you know, a penny, but two-cent pieces are a real thing. They actually stopped making

them back, back, right after the Civil War, so they're really old. And they're worth a lot of

money to some people. Anyway, I loved old coins like that.

Old ones from our country, old ones from different countries.

And so when I was little, my dad, he knew that I loved coins like this,

and so he gave me fake plastic coin versions of all these different cool types of coins that I liked.

I collected them and I put them in this little treasure box that I had.

And one day, on my birthday, my dad asked me if I would give him back this coin collection that he had gave me.
