Hey there, sprouts. Today Today is Friday, September 10th, 2021. All week we are talking about why we need to understand our Catholic faith. We have talked about, number one, the fact that we were created to seek, to ask questions, and to find truth.

Number two, someday you will be an adult, and you will have to make a decision for yourself,

whether you yes, believe, or no, you do not believe.

Number three, your Catholic faith will be under attack in the world, whether that being from well-meaning Protestant friends or from society that claims there is no truth. And yesterday,

the fourth reason, we talked about why we need to understand what we believe, and this is so that

we can effectively

convert to the world and bring more people to the eternal happiness of heaven.

So the last reason why we need to understand what we believe is so that we can carry with us

always the truth of Jesus Christ.

Now, I hope by now, after listening to this podcast for a while, by watching the example of your parents, your priests, your teacher, by simply living in the Catholic faith, I hope you understand that being Catholic

is not just something we talk about in religion class and practice when we go to Mass.

Being Catholic should touch every part of your life.

Being a follower of Jesus changes every one of our relationships.

It changes how we perform at our jobs or at school.

It changes our goals for the future.

It changes everything.

And so if we truly invest in what the Catholic Church teaches, if we understand those teachings

and we carry those teachings with us always, it will transform our entire future.

We will not only be happier, but we will be building something that is more meaningful,

that takes care of more people,

and that is more focused on Christ himself. So many of you in the future, you will be called to
