0:27.9	This week, we are wrapping up our discussion of the fourth beatitude.
0:32.6	Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Remember, righteousness is best
0:39.9	understood as holiness. Holiness that grows out of a relationship with God and spills into a love,
0:47.5	respect of all people, and also our desire to be converted, but not just for our own lives to turn and to be more focused on God, but for everyone in the whole world to be more focused on God.
1:02.0	We look to the example of the woman at the well who had this great longing to know Christ, one that he did not leave unanswered.
1:13.8	Yesterday, we saw that there are no excuses for not answering this beatitude. And we saw this through the example of Blessed Pierre-Giorgio
1:20.4	Frizzari. We're going to see also another powerful example of this from another Italian young man, Blessed Carlo Acudis.
1:30.6	Now, Blessed Carlo Acudis lived long after Blessed Pierre Giorgio.
1:35.6	In fact, he lived in the 1990s.
1:38.7	So if his life had not been cut short by a terminal illness, he would still be alive today. He lived during our time.
1:49.2	He had a computer. He rode in a car, all of these things. Sometimes we think that saints were
1:56.0	only made thousands of years ago. But that's not true. Blessed Carlo Aquutis, who is blessed right now, and very likely could be named a saint some day,
2:07.6	he lived now.
2:10.6	So a little bit about Blessed Carlo Acutis, he was Italian.
2:14.6	And although his family was Catholic, kind of, his parents really didn't invest in their faith.
2:21.6	They brought their son to the church for the sacraments, but they weren't necessarily regular
2:25.9	Sunday mass attenders. However, from a young age, Blessed Carlo Acudas was so attracted to Jesus.
2:37.5	He would beg his parents to take him into churches.
2:45.8	And after he received his first Holy Communion, even at the age of seven, he made an interior commitment to come to Mass every day and receive Jesus. And he did, even though it might have been
2:56.1	inconvenient or he had to get up early, even when he was that young, he was determined, I know this is
