| 1:17.0 | and I was taught to talk to Jesus like I would talk to anybody. |
| 1:22.1 | And when I first began to meet Catholics, |
| 1:24.8 | and they would say, well, let's pray together. |

| 1:27.6 | into rote prayers. Their idea of prayer was simply a Hail Mary or a Lori B or an Our Father, |
| 1:34.2 | and they were uncomfortable talking out loud to Jesus in the presence of someone else. |
| 1:39.4 | And I guess, you know, for some people, their faith can be so private, they hardly know it exists. |
| 1:45.1 | I think it's very important to gather together with our children and do a combination of prayer. |
| 1:50.8 | The rote prayers are beautiful, and I would never say step away from those or don't do them. |
| 1:57.0 | But we do in our children to understand that our Heavenly Father gave us his son out of total |
| 2:04.6 | sacrificial love. And he wants us to know him and to love him and to talk to him, to approach |
