1:01.2	Now, this week on the Catholic Spouts podcast, we are going to continue to talk about Christ, as we can experience him here now today.
1:07.6	We have spent the last couple of weeks talking about Eucharistic miracles and the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
1:13.4	Now, this week, we are going to focus on a very beautiful devotion that is available to us all the time, and that is Eucharistic adoration. Now, as you know, after the
1:23.1	priest and God acting through him has consecrated ordinary bread and wine during the sacrifice of
1:29.6	the Mass. Although it appears to still be bread and wine to our senses, we know that it has been
1:36.9	utterly changed. It is now Jesus Christ, his body, his blood, his soul, and divinity.
1:46.1	That is what we believe in the Eucharist.
1:49.1	Now, of course, we adore the Eucharist during Mass.
1:53.1	We are reverent.
1:54.2	We receive him through Holy Communion.
1:57.7	But because we know this is Christ, we want more. We want more time with Christ. And so,
2:06.1	we have Eucharistic adoration available to us. Now, we've talked about what Eucharistic
2:12.7	adoration is before on this podcast. Just a quick summary. At a time outside of Mass, a priest places the consecrated host.
2:23.0	He removes it from the tabernacle and places it inside of a monstrance.
2:27.6	Now, a monstrance is a little circle window, so it's kind of behind glass.
2:34.0	The host is. And it sits within a large
2:37.7	burst, almost a sunburst, a beautiful metal. Often it is on a stand. It is placed on the altar
