0:23.7

Hey there, Sprouse. Today is Thursday, April 22nd, 2021.

0:28.4

All week long, we have putting a spotlight on some great Catholic Latinos.

0:34.8

We have talked about St. Rose of Lima from Brazil. We talked about St. Oscar

0:39.5

Romero from El Salvador. Yesterday, we talked about St. Laura Montoya from Colombia. And today,

bless their family. But his family wasn't there,

2:03.6

and he knew that his family was back suffering the persecution that was going on back at home

2:10.8

because of this new government. Now, many people advised Blessed Miguel Pro not to go back to Mexico

2:17.4

because he would probably be killed,

2:20.0

but he knew he was a priest and that people in Mexico were suffering,
