| 0:00.0 | You're listening to Catholic Sprouts, the daily podcast for Catholic kids that strives to plant seeds of faith. |
| 0:16.6 | Hey there, sprouts. Today is Tuesday, April 6, 2021. Today is also Tuesday in the octave of Easter. That's right. Today is just day number three of celebrating Easter. And we have eight full days of celebrating. So keep at it. Keep using that alleluia word. Keep |
| 0:40.6 | feasting. Keep celebrating. We are an Easter people. Now, all week we're talking about Easter. |
| 0:48.3 | Yesterday we talked about Christ in his glorified body, the fact that he entered death, conquered it, and rose triumphant, |
| 0:57.4 | a victor over Satan, death, and sin. Today we're going to talk about, start talking about the |
| 1:03.7 | stories of personal encounter after Christ rose from the dead. And the person that we have to |
| 1:10.0 | start with is Mary Magdalene. |

| 1:33.0 | So it's a couple days after Christ has been crucified and died. |
| 1:38.0 | And women go out to the tomb where he has been laid. |
| 1:41.9 | They go out there. |
| 1:42.9 | They're very sad. But it's interesting that the |
| 1:46.1 | women go because it shows, in fact, that they are a little bit braver than the apostles than the |
| 1:52.6 | men that were following Jesus because we know where they are. They are back somewhere hiding |
| 1:57.8 | behind a locked door. But the women are brave enough to go to the tomb of Jesus, |
| 2:03.0 | to minister, to cry over him still there. But they come, and what do they find? They find that |
| 2:10.6 | the stone has been rolled away. And even stranger than that, they find that the cloth that had been wrapped around the body of Jesus Christ is there, that it's just sitting there. |
| 2:23.8 | They have all sorts of strange encounters with angels. But the strangest thing is that if someone had come to steal the body of Jesus, you know, if someone wanted to trick everyone and make them |
| 2:37.3 | believe that Christ had risen from the dead just by stealing his body, they wouldn't have unwrapped |
