Hey Sprouts, today is Thursday, March 11th, 2021. We have been talking all week about Jesus' final week of life, the first couple days of that week, his entry into Jerusalem, which we celebrate on Palm Sunday, and then his preaching in the temple on the topics of judgment and on accepting death, whether it's death to self or martyrdom.

1:45.8

Palm Sunday, there's a lot going on behind the scenes, the way the Jewish people would have seen this

1:51.6

that we might not know right away. So we're going to go back. We're going to spend today talking about

1:57.6

why is Jesus so mad? Like what exactly is so bad about what's happening in the temple?

2:04.0

So the first thing that you need to remember is that in the Old Testament, there are a couple
